Heard Radio - Christian Writers Literary Festival Part 1

Original air date: December 20, 2011, 41 minutes

The freedom to worship has been codified by the First Amendment in the U.S. Constitution as the right to free speech and the right to assemble.  How do authors who exercise their Christian faith write about their worship and share their beliefs with the world?

One organization, Christian Authors on Tour, was formed to do just that and recently held their Christian Writers Literary Festival in Baltimore, Maryland.  In a two-part show, you’ll hear from authors who write fiction and non-fiction from a Christian perspective and deal with the issues of life from their religious points of view.

Watch for this two-part conversation beginning Tuesday, December 20 and 27, 2011,  at 10:00 am.

On part one airing December 20, you’ll hear from Lynn Pinder, the coordinator of the festival about the need for the organization and author of the book, Psalms of the Daughter. and you’ll hear two sides of men and women in Christian churches from Annette Morton, author of Transference of Coverings, and from Rev. Kevin Wayne Johnson, author of The Power in the Local Church

Only on Heard.  It’s TV that matters, 24/7.

  1. Lynn Pinder says:

Robin, thank you so much for selecting CAOT to spotlight on HeardTV.com. What a blessing! I thank you for the time, commitment and professional flair you put into completing this project. It was a pleasure working with you and your production team. I wouldn’t say that we are giving our “religious” point of view. I just believe we are giving our point of view. We (all of the authors who participate in Christian Authors on Tour/CAOT) are on fire God and committed to using writing as a tool to harvest souls for Christ!

    • Robin says:

      Hi, Lynn.
It’s evident that the authors involved with the Christian Authors on Tour are passionate about spreading their words and making a distinct difference in the literary world! Authors are my heroes because they dare to pen their dreams! Enjoy!

  2. Hi Robin!
Thank you again for the interview during the Christian Writer’s Literary Festival here in the “city that reads”! God bless you and your team as you travel encouraging literary creativity!
    Grace & peace,
    “Evang. A”

PS. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

    • Robin says:

      Hi, Annette.
You’re certainly welcome and it was a pleasure meeting you and all of the authors in such a beautiful space. I didn’t know Baltimore was the “city that reads”! Every city should be like Baltimore!!! Edgar Allen Poe would be proud.
Be sure to tune in for part two next week. You’ll see some interesting information about Poe as well.

      Peace to you.
