The freedom to worship has been codified by the First Amendment in the U.S. Constitution as the right to free speech and the right to assemble. How do authors who exercise their Christian faith write about their worship and share their beliefs with the world?
One organization, Christian Authors on Tour, was formed to do just that and recently held their Christian Writers Literary Festival in Baltimore, Maryland. In a two-part show, you’ll hear from authors who write fiction and non-fiction from a Christian perspective and deal with the issues of life from their religious points of view.
Watch for this two-part conversation beginning Tuesday, December 20 and 27, 2011, at 10:00 am.
On part one airing December 20, you’ll hear from Lynn Pinder, the coordinator of the festival about the need for the organization and author of the book, Psalms of the Daughter. and you’ll hear two sides of men and women in Christian churches from Annette Morton, author of Transference of Coverings, and from Rev. Kevin Wayne Johnson, author of The Power in the Local Church.
Only on Heard. It’s TV that matters, 24/7.
